We’re adding a new Gear Reviews section to JoyWild to share thoughts on gear that helps people get outside more often. No exhaustive lists or overthinking—just practical reviews of items that are useful, approachable, and worth considering.

We’ll start with some gear we like. Mostly because it’s more fun to write about that way.

These reviews will focus on real use and everyday adventures—short hikes, weekend outings, and time outside with family.

This section is meant to be a resource you can check when you’re curious, not a checklist you need to follow.
