You don’t need anything extra to do the JoyWild 30 Day Challenge—just the daily prompts. Every activity is designed to be simple, accessible, and doable with what you already have. There’s no special equipment, no extra purchases required, no prep. All you really need is a willingness to step outside, pay attention, and try the small practices as they come. If all you do is read the prompt and follow it, you’re doing the challenge exactly as intended.

Some people enjoy keeping a journal throughout the month. Writing down what you noticed, how you felt, or what surprised you can deepen the experience and help you see patterns over time.

We also recommend using your phone to access the daily prompts—having the day’s challenge right there in your pocket makes it easy to reference as you’re out doing it. We also suggest checking back into the prompt later in the day. That said, some exercises do invite you to leave your phone at home.

But again, none of this is required. The heart of the challenge is about noticing, exploring, and reconnecting with everyday moments—everything else is optional.
